Assistant Branch Manager/Loan Assistant

Gray Office

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal communication and writing skills
  • Loan Administration experience
  • One year of branch operations experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • New Accounts Opening experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Fiserv Premier system preferred
  • Knowledge of Laser Pro and/or BPM preferred

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct and effectively coordinate branch operations staff in order to provide excellent services to customers.
  • Monitor work performance of branch operations staff.
  • Enter loan applications in Laser Pro, disburse loans and complete loan packages
  • Provide assistance to Branch Manager as needed in loan application process
  • Have a working knowledge of all loan and deposit regulation requirements
  • Ability to train new employees on product knowledge.
  • Monitor branch office operations to ensure security and audit procedures are being followed.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve account related problems and to ensure positive public relations.
  • Explain services to potential personal and business account customers to generate additional business.
  • Open new accounts through Bank system - primarily as a backup.
  • Conduct assigned bank wide sales meetings to continue training on product knowledge.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Consistent sales referrals weekly and encourage staff as well.
  • Assist in answering telephones.
  • Participate on ATM on-call response and alarm response teams.

Closing Teller

Tunnel Branch

40 Hours a Week: Monday-Friday until 6 p.m. and every Saturday 9-12.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Previous teller experience or two years cashiering experience
  • Pleasant and professional appearance.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Lift currency and coin –approximate weight 40-50 pounds

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service.
  • Routine teller duties – paying and receiving.
  • Processing night / ATM deposits.
  • Balance cash drawer to teller system daily.
  • Place Reg. CC holds as applicable.
  • Processing loan payments.
  • Cross-selling bank products and services (Sales Referrals).
  • Providing assistance to bank personnel as needed.
  • Answering phones as necessary and providing telephone assistance to customers.

Loan Operations Assistant

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability to create Word documents
  • Experience in using/creating Excel spread sheets
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience

Education Experience:

  • Associates (or more) Degree or equivalent loan experience

Experience Preferred:

  • Knowledge of loan documents
  • 10 key calculator
  • Knowledge of Director

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities could include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Balances general ledger accounts on a daily basis
  • Verifies previous day transaction postings and maintenance
  • Verifies new loan set ups
  • Backs up Insurance Assistant
  • Provides employees and customers with loan information
  • Provides assistance to bank personnel as needed
  • Cross-selling bank products and services.
  • Answering phones as necessary and providing telephone assistance to customers.
